Broughton's Ruby, a real unit of a mare and a class act!
By Harbour Watch who is always a good sire in a broodmare pedigree, who includes Royal Applause, Woodman, Mr Prospector and Buckpasser within his pedigree.
Her Dam, Broughton's Jewel, a Bahri x Gone West x Roberto mare, again brings some greats to this pedigree including the great Secretariat and Nijinsky!
Ruby is a big moving mare, who moves more like a Warmblood than a TB and unlike most TB's she has excellent feet!
She has worked under saddle, showing beautiful movement and a big, scopey jump and has competed, including doing a few unaffiliated One Day Events. However, due to her owner being a little 'over-horsed', I managed to get this beautiful girl as a Broodmare,
She is currently at Stud to the very lovely TB stallion BUFFALO SOLDIER, with the prospect of breeding a top Eventing foal.
